Rototill

Well, I borrowed the Community Roots rototiller yesterday and tore up a sizeable plot in the back right of our yard.  Throughout this exercise, and every other time I’ve dug in Colorado soil, I’m reminded why they call them the Rocky Mountains. We haven’t planned it out yet, but we’ll be putting in 200 + of garlic in the fall at least.  I can’t wait.  But our next step is to add some highly recommended manure to sweeten it up a bit.

It might be about 10x18 or so, plus a little "L" lip around the existing beds.

A view from the new plot's cornor. All in all, this is a tinsie tiny bit of our yard. More adventures to come.
